A place of lost legends, the 5th planet once teemed with strange life
and great civilization.  Our galaxy's first eden which came of age
whilst earth wriggled with earliest life.  An alien place where
intelligent beings mixed with savage, horned beasts.  Aqueducts
crisscrossed the surface while cave cities grew underground.
Some believe that life still remains... Biding its time.

In the tradition of artists Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, Joe Jusko
and others, this year we present a place of otherworldly evolution,
fierce costumery and unapologetic hotness. In this lesser gravity --
jump higher, dance harder and last longer. It's the 10th Annual
Horned Ball and the countdown is on...

Unicorns, Vikings, Goats, Brass section of the Philharmonic.. What do all of these things have in common? They all have HORNS of course! 

As all of us here on the East Coast wait patiently for Spring and the shorter skirts that come with it, there is one sign of Spring that comes before all others and that is the Kostume Kult spring romp Horned Ball. This year the horns are hornier than ever as the theme is Return to Skull Island. Oooh! Aaaahh!
Time travel with us back to a prehistoric land of primitive beats and gargantuan beasts. The venue is amazing and as per usual Kostume Kult will not disappoint with the decor.

For those who are unaware, Horned Ball is Kostume Kult's longest running annual event where all are encouraged to wear horns regardless of the sub-theme. This year we pay homage to the Norse mythos- its gods, warriors and magickal creatures but also welcome overt acts of ridiculousness as a constant of this event is absurdity...

Featuring late night dancing and staged performances from 8-12 at the "Showtime at the Valhalla" Gong-Show presentation on the main stage, we are seeking leaders, doers, artists, and performers who will help us set the pyre alight and kick off this season in powerful style.
